Dear Cartoonistas,
Now, where were we? I’m self-isolating here in Briarcliff Manor, New York, image courtesy of Google Earth and Photoshop.
Last time I wrote to you, I challenged you to stump the archive. There’s nothing we don’t have a cartoon for. Do we have a cartoon for Google Earth? Yep.
Photoshop? Roger.
Like I said in last week’s newsletter, the combined archives of CartoonStock and CartoonStock have a krillion cartoons and counting (a krillion one, a krillion two…) and have a cartoon for just as many topics. We have cartoons about iguanas, about making fun of Canadians, about cartoons themselves, about The Divine Comedy, about fear of flying, about scarecrows, bees, condoms, and needle felting.
Needle felting? Actually, we don’t carry any cartoons on needle felting because we feel the topic is inappropriate. But the other topics in the above list—a sampling of your requests—are no problem.
Iguanas
Fear of Flying
Ok, this last cartoon by the superlative Ed Steed isn’t literally about condoms (we have over 150 in our archive), but it’s funny and true—and proof positive that you can do a tasteful cartoon about something I can’t mention or Google will flag this post. Needle felting, on the other hand, is something we wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot needle.
Yours in Good Humor,
Bob
P.S. If you need a cartoon, we’ve got it. Whatever your cartoon licensing needs, find what you’re looking for at CartoonStock.com.
